SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainable and Ethical
Clothing Manufacturing
At Kimono Masters, we are committed to integrating sustainable and ethical practices throughout our operations. As a responsible player in the fashion industry, we’ve embraced a production approach that prioritizes sustainability and environmental responsibility, aiming to create a better future for the industry and the planet.
Kimono Masters is dedicated to sourcing sustainable alternatives that conserve vital energy. We utilize 100% recycled fabrics and adopt renewable energy sources within our facilities, significantly reducing energy consumption and minimizing pollution compared to industry standards.
Our operations are designed to have a low carbon footprint. Through extensive research, we’ve implemented a self-heating boiler system powered by solar energy and steam condensation units, which significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions, energy use, and water wastage.
Kimono Masters is proudly certified as Ethical by Sedex, PHMA, PESSI, and Tuv Nord. We uphold a strict code of conduct for all employees, ensuring ethical working conditions, providing welfare benefits, and actively preventing discrimination, forced labor, and child labor in both our industry and supply chains.

OEKO-TEX Certified Yarns, Fabrics, and Inks: Foundations of Sustainable Clothing Manufacturing
At Kimono Masters, we’ve committed ourselves to extensive research in sourcing sustainable fabrics, focusing on materials that are recycled or organically produced, ensuring they are safe, eco-friendly, and contribute positively to environmental conservation.
Our recycled polyester yarns and fabrics are crafted from the scientific breakdown and polymerization of used plastic bottles. These materials are certified by Global Recycling Standards (GRS) as 100% RPET and safe. Additionally, all our polyester fabrics boast advanced technological features and are certified eco-friendly under OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
Our organic cotton yarns and fabrics are produced from carefully nurtured cotton, ensuring the highest purity. These fabrics are certified by Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS), guaranteeing that the cotton is 100% organic and free from pesticides. Our organic cotton fabrics offer superior softness, enhanced durability, and are AZO-Free certified.
Sustainable Practices
At Kimono Masters, sustainability and environmental preservation are core values. We actively implement sustainable and energy-conservation practices throughout our production and supply chains. We also encourage our suppliers and customers to embrace sustainable methods and products. Some of our current initiatives include:
Ethical, Fair & Cruelty-Free Practices
Kimono Masters is certified Ethical, Fair, and Cruelty-Free, having passed rigorous audits by Sedex, Tuv Nord, PHMA, and PESSI. We ensure more than just fair wages; we provide welfare benefits and maintain safe working conditions for our employees. Our transparent policies strictly adhere to ethical standards, upholding our commitment to ethical practices. We use only vegan-sourced raw materials and fabrics, firmly opposing animal cruelty.
Vital Energy Conservation
To minimize energy consumption, Kimono Masters harnesses renewable energy sources in our production process. Pollution, global warming, and climate change are all linked to energy use. We address these issues by operating 100% on solar energy, conserving millions of kilojoules of energy. Additionally, by adopting LED lights and servo motors, we’ve cut our energy consumption by two-thirds.
Anti-Fashion Waste Supply Chain
The fashion industry generates significant waste, including fabrics, yarns, and ready-made garments. Kimono Masters has developed an Anti-Fashion Waste Supply Chain method, allowing us to manufacture fabrics according to product sizing, minimizing waste during cutting. Any fabric swatches considered waste are repurposed or properly disposed of by local authorities. We also offer no minimum order requirements, helping clients forecast sales more accurately and reducing the waste of unsold garments.
Sustainable Campaigns
In addition to producing GRS-certified recycled and GOTS-certified organic fabrics, Kimono Masters is committed to sustainable practices across the industry. We source consciously from suppliers who follow strict codes of conduct and promote sustainability in their supply chains.
